Minimum Qualification
The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognised Indian or Foreign University. Applicants are also required to give any one of the following entrance exam.
Admission to M.B.A. course as per guidelines laid down by the Government through

– All India (ATMA/CAT) (SEATS 20%)
– MANAGEMENT QUOTA (SEATS 15%)
Management Entrance Test (MET)
MET, formerly known as MPMJET is a joint entrance Examination conducted by Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (VYAPAM), Professional Examination Board (PEB), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This test is held for admission to AICTE approved MBA courses in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Foreign Students
- Foreign students in this context shall be defined as a student who possesses a foreign passport.
- Non Resident Indian (NRI) (as per Income Tax Act, 1961)
As per Income Tax Act, 1961, an individual is Non – Resident for income tax purposes, when he is “not a resident” or who is “not ordinarily resident”. A person is treated as “not ordinarily resident” when any of the following conditions is satisfied: - If he has not been resident in India in 9 out of 10 preceding years;
OR
If he has been in India for a period of 730 days or more during the preceding 7 years. - A person, who is Non – Resident in India or Not Ordinarily Resident, is taxed in India for his income in India. He is not taxed in India for income abroad
Documents Required
The documents listed below are to be submitted along with the necessary fees
- Original T.C. from the Institution last attended
- Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
- Original Mark sheet of 10+2/Graduation, which ever is applicable, is to be submitted.
- Admission form (Available in the Institute) duly completed and signed by Parent/Guardian
- Original Mark sheet of PET/AIEEE
- Demand Draft payable in the name of Astral Institute of Technology and Research, Indore
- Two Passport size photographs
- All these formalities have to be completed within 7 days from the date of the counselling of the candidate
